I find that if I keep busy and exercise everyday, even when all I can do is get out of bed, that I feel much better. And yes when I personally have to much refined sugars I have a relapse. Any suggestions that are resonable to follow on a daily basis.

The first thing that I would recommend is to cut out the refined sugars and sugar substitutes (ie: Splenda, Equal, etc) because the refined sugars are a pain trigger for fibromyalgia and the substitutes have ASPERTAME in them. They may not say it directly or it may be the chemical name , but they are there. Anything low sugar or no sugar has a substitute in it. So you probably wonder, what do I use for sweetener. The whole foods coop in Erie on 26th Street has Xylitol, a natural sugar which is one for one in proportion to granulated sugar. It is natural and does not affect our "pain" levels. You can bake, cook, and use it for drinks, in coffee or tea, on your cereal. The other huge trigger food is white and wheat bleached flour. Spelt flour, white or dark, is wonderful in taste and you substitute it one for one for the bleached white or wheat flour. Also, you can buy lasagna noodles, spaghetti, etc. at the Whole Foods Coop. They even have spelt pretzels to snack on. If you want to call me, I can help you more. Call my toll free number if you like.
I hope this helps you.
Hope, Peace and Joy Always!
Sincerely,
Karen Grove
