I am currently working on a DVD where a clinical psychologist will answer on DVD during a round table discussion any questions you might have on relationships, why people don't get fibromyalgia, how you can help a loved one, spouse, sister, brother, etc. about this disease and how we feel. Feel free to contribute to topics that you would like to see included in the DVD!!!

Karen, I am sure your DVD has long been completed, but I have a question. How can I help my husband understand what Im going through? I am currently very discouraged about how little concern my husband has shown for my ailments. He has seen me at my worst without offering so much as a helping hand... Yet he could have the slightest sore muscle from work or sports, and he will make comments about his discomfort knowing I will be right there to ease his pain... Its as though my ailments were a mystery for so long that he still views them as eveyday ordinary aches and pains that everyone has. I am a very strong, independant, resiliant woman, but having his support would help so much...
